Grade 6 News

On Friday 13th of September, the Grade 6's will be holding MAD DAY in the gym. All money raised from the day will go directly towards their Graduation night and our Grade 6 Big Day at the end of the year.

Students have created their own business, business plan and brand. We learnt about wants and needs, profit and loss and what it means to be a successful entrepreneur. Within their businesses students had the opportunity to allocate jobs and be responsible for that part of their business, e.g, finance manager, marketing and design manager, CEO etc. They designed a logo, slogan, advertisements, menus and prices lists. Students conducted market research, created graphs displaying their data and made any changes needed based on their findings.

This year there is a range of food stalls, craft stalls, games and hands on activities. Students are encouraged to bring coins (if possible) in a zip lock bag with their name and grade on it.

All parents are invited to come in at any part during the day between 10am and 1.40pm. The students are so excited and thank everyone for their support.

Timetable

10am - 11am - Grade 4's and 5's and 3C

11.40am-12.40pm - Grade 2's and Grade 3's

12.40pm -1.40pm - Preps and Grade 1's
